Nimbus, silver gelatin triptych, edition of 2, 2008

The word "nimbus" can describe grey cloud formations, but it can also mean halo. I twisted a crown of thorns out of a string of Christmas tree lights, lay them on the page and plugged the lights into my enlarger timer so that I could illuminte the page for 1/10 of a second.
