Mechanical Self Portraits, 5 DVD Loops, various lengths, 2009

In this series, machines and systems are allowed to portraitize themselves. Cameras have been affixed to the subjects in such a way so as we don't see them directly, but only their function. The subjects in this series are: Gondola, Balloon, Ferry, Ferris Wheel and Zamboni. Making them was in part an excuse to enjoy riding on them.
