Hair Scoll, 2003

This hairpiece was made for my friend Hilary's 21st birthday present.
I was inspired by the organic scroll in her violin's head and thought of how nice it might look on hers. The tuning pegs hold the hair in place invoking a famous Man Ray photograph.
