PING is a remix of PONG, the first successful video game. Both are set
as a topology of ping-pong and are unbound by the laws of physics. In
PING, one player plays and beats the computer without moving. The computer
is revealed by the precision with which its player is able to reproduce
error and the human is revealed through self-aware strategy. We are reminded
of the conclusion the computer game reaches at the end of War Games, “the
only way to win is not to play.”
