At Glacial Speeds, silver gelatin diptych, edition of 1, 2008 On the left is the ice cube tray and on the right are the ice cubes. Both concrete photograph are seen in negative, but the negatives of grey plastic and of ice are pretty much the same as the positives are. The ice cube tray was alit for mere seconds, but the ice cubes were left out melting under the safelight or the hours that you can see. A safelight will expose photo paper, but only after prolonged duration. The title is inspired by one of my favorite films, by Eve Heller.
