Recording all of her letters onto 35mm microfilm archives, miniaturizes and makes reproducible their contents as anthropological artifacts. In projecting that microfilm as a movie, one does not see the correspondence’s singular meanings in its words and pages, but rather the total meaning of its force as a whole.
